Leisure & Tourism at Abbeydale Grange School

Leisure and Tourism is a double award GCSE and has been running at Abbeydale Grange since September 2002.

Leisure and Tourism are fast growing sectors of the economy and employ thousands of people in the Sheffield area.

The course is two thirds coursework with one final exam. The course involves some visits out of school; last year we visited the Peak District National Park, Ponds Forge Leisure Centre and Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.

Students then used information from these visits to complete a coursework unit on marketing and one on customer service.
