In the Medicine Section, students should expect to study medicine from the Middle Ages (Black Death and health care), the fight against disease and the impact of industrialisation, the role of modern day medicine and the role of key individuals such as Curie and Fleming.
Within the coursework units assessment is based on the contribution Richard Arkwright made to the textile revolution and the Cuban Missile Crisis and its role in the Cold War.
Assessment is 75% exam and 25% coursework.
